With over 10 years performing together, Funky Business understands what it takes to make a great party happen!

Lisa Walsh fronts Funky Business as lead vocalist, percussionist, and mistress of ceremonies.  Berklee College alumni Steve Chameides also performs on lead vocals as well as the best piano, horns, strings and anything else you can get out of keyboards and synthesizers.  Next, more quality lead vocal supplied by Tom Walsh while he recreates all of the signature guitar parts that help make up the music we all love.  Last but certainly not least, the rhythm section of Mel Perry on Bass Guitar/vocals, and Charlie Napolitano on Drums is "locked in" keeping the groove pumping all night!

Note: Funky Business ALWAYS includes these five musicians and no-one is ever substituted for!

All introductions, special dances and toasts are handled with great care as well; we will speak with you in detail well in advance of your wedding to make sure that all of these details are carried out to your expectations.  We'll be more than happy to help with any special requests that you have as well.

Probably one of the most important and overlooked factors that make a top quality wedding band is the actual sound of the band.  Funky Business employs a world-class, professional sound engineer (also always the same person) for all weddings/events to ensure that the sound is perfect and the volume is comfortable throughout the night.  The last thing a band (or you!) needs to worry about is engineering their own sound from the stage.  Be sure to ask this question when shopping for a band, you'd be surprised how many bands try to do it themselves and compromise their performance or the sound quality.
